The Louisville Irish Dancers are a non-competitive, practice and performance based dance club with classes for both experienced and beginners, ages 10 through adult. We were incorporated in January 2017 as a sister school to the Lexington Irish Dancers, founded by a former Lexington dancer. Our mission is to cultivate a love of Irish Dance in a non-competitive atmosphere.
Instructor and Communications Chair
Hannah Krieger started Irish dancing when she was 7 years old at McClanahan School of Irish Dance. She danced competitively with them for 8 years. In college, she helped choreograph two Irish dances for the school’s play Ireland’s Greatest Export. Hannah joined the Louisville Irish Dancers in January 2016. She enjoys the camaraderie of the group, participating in performances, and learning new dances. Hannah now assists with teaching and creating new choreography for the group. She is also our Communications Chair and is our point of contact for booking performances. She can be reached via our group email at LouisvilleIrishDancers@gmail.com.
